We stayed for three nights and had an absolutely fantastic experience from start to finish. Clean, Comfortable Facilities Our room and common areas were spotless, and we especially appreciated the thoughtful extras like the massage chair and cozy lounge area. Everything felt fresh and well-maintained, which made coming “home” each evening a real pleasure. Breakfast to Remember The morning buffet was a highlight: the seafood selection was outstanding—salmon, scallops and even salmon roe were so fresh I kept going back for more. The grilled mushrooms and vegetables were equally delicious. Admittedly, the fruit spread was a little underwhelming, but it didn’t take away from the overall excellence of the spread. Late-Night Ramen Rescue On nights when we didn’t feel like venturing far, the hotel’s ramen was a lifesaver—rich, flavorful broth and perfectly cooked noodles. My father declared it the best bowl he’s had in ages! Friendly, Accommodating Staff Everyone we met was warm and welcoming. Not all of the team spoke English, but having Google Translate on hand turned every interaction into a breeze. They went out of their way to make us comfortable whenever we asked for anything. Unbeatable Location If you love late-night shopping, you couldn’t ask for a better spot: just steps from Mitsukoshi Mall and Don Quijote, with Odori Park and the main train stations only a short walk away. We visited at the very start of Sakura season, which made strolling through the nearby cherry-blossom-lined streets even more magical. All in all, this was one of the best hotel stays we’ve ever had—clean, convenient, and full of little touches that made our trip unforgettable. Highly recommended!

Location is perfect, right where Tanujikoji Shopping Street and underground mall are located. Also near Mall, Odori Park and Sapporo TV tower. You can walk to anywhere from this location. Airport bus terminal is less than a 5-minute walk away, across Hotel Abest. Take note though that this is the 4th or 5th airport bus stop, lots of vacant seats but will have many stops before heading to the airport. If you are pressed for time, go to airport bus stop that goes direct to the airport - either in Odori or Susukino. There's free coffee, ramen and ice pops. Public bath was also interesting, but we were not able to try. Massage chair in the lounge was so good. Use of washing machine is free, while dryer is 100Y per 30 min cycle. A day's laundry for a family of 4 took 4 cycles (2 hours) to dry.

Everything. There was this incident where the staff was cleaning up the table next to mine and he accidentally spilled the liquid over to my side and dirtied my jeans. I do not mind but the hotel staff came to me several times and requested if I needed any cleaning. I just wanted some peace to finish my breakfast and go back to my room and snoozed. The following day, I had the space beside me or the entire row empty. I stayed for 4 nights and I could do my laundry for free instead of getting the staff to do the laundry. I just hope the staff did not get dismissed or have a paycut or anything. Everyone makes mistakes and this is not a serious one so I can easily forgive.

Breakfast was great! The variety of food available was impressive. Even though there was a wait during peak hours, the hotel's organizational skills kept it moving swiftly. Plus, they have a coffee machine in the lobby (awesome!). The onsen public bath was wonderful. I took early afternoon baths (before dinner) to avoid the crowd. We loved the free popsicles and ice cream after being in the hot bath. We did not take advantage of the free ramen in the evening, but it was nice to know we could if we wanted to. We were also provided fresh towels every day (hanging on our door knob) even though we opted for no cleaning while we stayed.

We have stayed at several Dormy Inn's and they are very consistent. Our room was clean and comfortable and the bath facilities were very nice. The breakfast had many local options and there was tons of food. It was one of the more bountiful breakfasts we have seen at the Dormy Inn. It is located on a shopping street so you can walk right out into a busy area, yet the hotel is very quiet. It was easy for us to access the metro, railcar, and the underground walkway from the hotel.
